Booking Lifecycle

Overview

The booking lifecycle defines the complete workflow from service request to contractor payout.

Booking Flow

  1. Customer selects a cleaning service.
  2. Customer enters property and service details.
  3. The system calculates an estimated price.
  4. Customer completes payment.
  5. A contractor is assigned.
  6. The contractor travels to the service location.
  7. The contractor verifies the scope of work.

Scope Verification

If the actual scope differs from the original booking:

  • The booking price is adjusted.
  • Additional payment may be requested.
  • A partial refund may be processed.

Once confirmed, the contractor proceeds with the service.

Job Completion

After completing the service:

  • The contractor marks the booking as completed.
  • The customer confirms completion.
  • The booking status is updated.

Contractor Payout

Once the booking is completed:

  • The contractor becomes eligible for payment.
  • Knest processes the contractor payout.
  • The booking is closed.

Booking Statuses

A booking may have one of the following statuses:

  • Pending
  • Confirmed
  • Contractor Assigned
  • En Route
  • In Progress
  • Completed
  • Cancelled
